### Why?

- Web hosting is around `6$`/month, domain is `15$`-`20$`/year.
- Ad-free since 2012, no affiliate links, no paywalled/gated content, never done a paid review, and never accepted paid guest posts.
- Most of what I do outside work is freely available either at [my GitHub](https://github.com/Kartones){:target="\_blank"}, here in this blog, or [listed on this page](https://portfolio.kartones.net/personalprojects/){:target="\_blank"}.

### For What?

Initially, to cover hosting costs. Alternatively, simply to buy me a coffee.

### How?

ko-fi is a generic support platform and easier to use, but GitHub is also a valid option if you are a techie 🙂.
